As part of the Community Garden presentation on Tuesday March 22nd (7:00 pm) at the Carslake Community Center, the BCEC will also present a Backyard Composting workshop. It’s a great way to be environmentally responsible by keeping biodegradable waste out of landfills and sewage plants, and help you get a vibrant garden without chemical fertilizers. It’s also a great way to save money. There will be a full discussion of all the features and benefits of home composting…and a full explanation of how you can easily do it yourself.
