Bordentown City — Sustainable Jersey Silver Recertification!

We’re pleased to announce that Bordentown City has achieved Sustainable Jersey Silver recertification. Municipalities who earn this certification are considered by their peers, state government, experts, and civic organizations in NJ to be among the leading communities in the state. And, the City has been awarded the Sustainability Champion Award for small size municipalities, achieving the highest number of points in the category. The award will be presented at the 8th annual Sustainable Jersey luncheon at the NJ League of Municipalities Conference on November 15th. If anyone would like to attend, tickets can be purchased online at www.sustainablejersey.com.

Special thanks go out to our Green Team led by Cathy Elliott-Shaw and Cindy Gallagher for the continuing hard work they provide to assure we keep up the certification.
