Backyard Composting Workshop – “The Rotten Truth”

As part of the Community Garden presentation on Tuesday March 22nd (7:00 pm) at the Carslake Community Center, the BCEC will also present a Backyard Composting workshop. It’s a great way to be environmentally responsible by keeping biodegradable waste out of landfills and sewage plants, and help you get a vibrant garden without chemical fertilizers. It’s also a great way to save money. There will be a full discussion of all the features and benefits of home composting…and a full explanation of how you can easily do it yourself.

We’re excited to announce the arrival of Bordentown City’s first ever organic Community Garden. There will be a presentation on March 22, 2016 – 7 PM at the Carslake Community Center – 209 Crosswicks St. You’ll get all the information you need and be able to sign up on the spot for your plot. In the meantime you can get more information by sending an email to  bordentowncitygarden@gmail.com or stopping by at City Hall and picking up an application/contract form.
